new forum: gigspam

let's face it, no one uses the calendar. Can there be a gigspam specific area?

One thread per date would be great, but I imaging the 'tonight:' thread would get pretty cluttered pretty quickly.

And, err, how would one enforce such a policy? I sure wouldn't want to moderate that.

And, err, how would one enforce such a policy? I sure wouldn't want to moderate that.

The answer to that is to set parameters for the forum

so Moderators can post new threads but Registered users can't.

Then the mod for the forum would post threads for dates and people could post their gigs in them.

I see a few more TBers have found the calendar. Maybe putting a starburst graphic around it will draw even more folks to it...
