New-found treasures...

Just wondering if any Tbers had found any basses lying around, say, in a dumpster or at the front of a house on trashday?

My friend found an Affinity a while ago, the finish was beat to hell, god knows what the owner did to it but at least it played alright...kinda. :hiding:

my local guitar store took me into their storage area above the store (this is a pretty small place) and i was looking at the gig bags they had. and i saw a cab.

its an empty 2 12 cab. with black plush on it, and the wierdest oval casters ever. the front of it is a sweet purple and black stripe it looks great. it even has a jackplate all wired up just needed speakers.

they said i could just take it, and it had been sitting around for 10 years.

havnt done anything with it though because when i opened it up i saw that the holes to mount the speakers was poorley done and i would have to put a new mounting board on it. since i dont have matierls to cut circles i havnt done anything with it.

but for free i like having it haha/

Sounds awesome disasterline, I sure wish my city had more than one major music store. I've been getting GAS lately, especially yesterday but that should cured in about a month or so...

My bro was pretty lucky earlier in the year, my dad's friend brought by a large, custom Vox type amp from the 70's, the thing is a beast. I just re-soldered some of the wiring this morning. I have never been as lucky...
