New gear p'up advice, please!

I just recently received an Epiphone EB-0 for a gift. Love the bass, but the pickup leave a LOT to be desired, tone wise. Any recommendations on a good replacement pickup for this bass that might offer some more defined tone? I'd really love it if I could get some treble at all...

Put a DiMarzio Model One in. Same dimensions but designed to be Mud-free.

Check out Lollar, too. I used theirs in my Gibson Thunderbird, and they really woke it up to the point that it’s been my “number one” for over a year.

Sentell Pickups bass guitar pickups.

I was shocked at the amount of treble his UnMudbucker produces. Even when mounted right up at the neck! Way more clarity than the Model One. Just a great tone.

My first thought was Sentell too. Then there's the Novak Bisonic-inspired EB pickup: EB-BSx

You can if you like. If you don't, he'll build it to standard mudbucker spacing, but if you need something different, well, that's the business he's in!

I have an Epi EB-0 "under custody" (my nephews') and I installed a series/single/parallel switch. Not that I find the mudbucker sounds bad, I like the tone, but the mod gave the pickup some nice new choices. Fortunately, increased hum in single coil mode is negligible in mine.
