I'm curious to hear or hear about one as well. I'm guessing it won't be too long before someone owns up to getting one. Pretty sure Sweetwater has shipped one or two by now.
I'm waiting to try one in person before pulling the trigger on it, since I am not all that thrilled with neck profiles on recent Gibson basses apart from SG.
I have one and love it there are tons of tone options due to the coil tap and active passive switching
The bass also has a nice 4band eq with paramedic mids so you can dial on basically any sound you want on each pickup it also has a blend control which I like a lot more then a pickup switch but for the most part the tone is punchy with lots of midrange booming low end and snappy high end it kinda reminds me of a unholy blend between a Ricky 4003 and a mm stingray
In terms of playability the neck is thick and rounded which I personally prefer but I can see someone with smaller hands or a person who prefers a thinner neck having a hard time with this bass it is also very heavy ...... like around 15 to 20 pounds heavy being that the entire bass is made of maple which I think is a fine trade off to get that zingy maple tone but I know for some it would be a deal breaker
Overall the build quality is great everything is placed well with no buzzing or sharp fret edges I got mine in ebony and it seems well applied to me
I would recommend this bass to anyone who wants something different but still wants to be able to get a good mix of classic and modern times but who isn't worried about back pain and a larger neck for me it's great but I can see it not being for everyone but of you see one I. Your local shop I would highly recommend at least trying it out

If I get anywhere near one, I'm definitely having a go. I used to have a late '70s RD Artist w/ the Moog electronics. Weighed a ton, but had a bunch of great tones in it.
