From the FAQ on the GK site:

"Q: I notice that you set up your EQ section “backwards” from the norm, from high to low. Why is that?
A: My first amplifiers that used the serial equalizer (300B, 600B) were hand-wired with terminal strips. In order to reduce noise, a serial equalizer must have the high frequency bands first, so with handwiring the high frequency pots had to come first. I can always tell when the competition has been looking at my designs, because for no reason at all they run their equalizer high to low. To my knowledge, GK is the only company using a serial equalizer, therefore the only company with a reason to run the equalizer from high to low."

Perhaps this means that they've stopped using their serial eq set up... Or perhaps they've gone digital and are using the technology from the Plex?

I cant wait til these come out. An 800RB in class D form. I'm interested in the tone it recreates. That classic GK Grind in a lighter form is very interesting. Also they have a Fusion version (all Tube preamp), Fusion with tube compressor, Plex version (all digital programable), and combos of these as well. Damn if that aint interesting I dont know what the heck is. Also I like that classic GK utilitarian look these have. As far as where the bass control is located mehhhhhh, first world/too much time problems.

Oh boy cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good eye there, Red Planet! Also looks like the graphics above the knobs are slightly different. I'd guess that the amp in the video is the actual production version, and that the images on the GK website and on web-pages of vendors are of a prototype.

Thats is what I was thinking but I thought I'd ask. I like that newer look better not crazy about the little window look.
