Double Bass New GK MB150 update coming next year

I try not to speculate about gear that hasn't been released yet but I'm kinda excited about an updated MB150 combo.

I had one as my main upright amp for about 15 years. Sweet sound that was eventually outclassed by newer light weight gear. If GK can do an updated version that can compete I'm in!

No, looks like this was postponed or shelved. I occasionally take a peek at the GK club thread and there hasn't been any news.

It’s unfortunate that they didn’t proceed with the new MB 150, my guess is that they look at the cost versus sales and decided not to do it. The GR Bass AT Acoustic Cube seems to be the only new full featured DB combo with dual channels

I would think there really ought to be a market for an updated MB150.
But what the heck do I know?

I realize the GR cube is out and cool, but what happened to the new GK MB line? They seem to exist, but be out of stock everywhere.

Sometime last year Dylan, I only know one bassist who actually owns one. They cost about the same as the upper end
Acoustic Image Claris 4+ combo did. Weight is 19.5 lbs with a 12 inch speaker.
