New guild Starfire Bass

Are these still USA made? Why are they so affordable in comparison to the Starfire II?
They're so affordable because they're not made in the U.S. My Starfire II is Korean made, so I assume this one is the same, but I can't confirm that. There are also small hardware changes between the II and the I, like the split-p pickup versus the two BS-1 BiSonic pickups, Grover-branded tuners vs. probably cheaper import tuners, an all-in-one bridge with rosewood saddles vs. the harp tailpiece and two-post bridge combo, plus other factors like quality of craftsmanship and materials, electronic components, etc.

Gotcha. I figured that is the case but they hide it on their website well and make sure to highlight Guild USA guitars.
