Just thought I;d introduce myself — been playing since I was a teenager, though I'm not a bassist in either of my current bands. I have a stock Newark St. Guild Starfire II, a '90s Japanese Orville Gibson EB-3 that was really messed up when I got it and has been modified with Guild Bisonic pickups, a Badass I bridge, and brass nut, and my current project, another Starfire II modified to be like the ones done up by Alembic in the early '70s.
