New guy from Jersey

Hi everyone!
Guitarist swimming into the deep end. I've been lurking for a while, learning a lot of stuff and thought I'd take the first step to getting all the bass out of my head and into reality.:bassist: I did once own a Peavey Palaedium for a time, but foolishly let it get away.... I never even got an amp for it.

But I'm looking forward to starting over!

I'm thinking combo, but I'm not sure which direction to go. I don't know if I should get a small practice combo for now and then later look into getting a larger head/cabinet set up as needed.... or if I shoud try to get a combo with some power to it as a do it all amp. It's tough because I need to keep things on the cheap, while at the same time I'd like to give the Lakland at least a little tonal justice.

In the do it all category I've been looking at GK backlines, Fender 150, Nemesis silvers and Ashdowns. Not excactly cheap.
