Just thought I would introduce myself.
I'm 28 and have been playing guitar for about 4. I had a chance to borrow a friends bass a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed it.
So far, bass seems more about the music and the groove, whereas guitar seems, to me, to be about flashy solos (which is a skill I never aquired).
I still haven't bought my own bass, or made the decision to call myself a bass player instead of a guitarist, but we'll see what the future holds.
