(NEW) Hartke Hydrive HD 115 cab(s)?

How many of you (if any) have tried or own one of these NEW Hartke Hydrive HD 115 cabs? They definitely LOOK different (I like the new look), BUT, Are they a lot better sounding than the older (silver grill) Hydrive 115? Are they Punchier? Deeper? Warmer sounding? Can they handle more power? Inquiring minds wanna know, but can't get to a place to check one out anytime in the near future, Thanks.

Thanks, So I'm assuming the overall sound/tone is better/improved because it's $100 more then the first version; I mean, it's got to be more than just the look of it
Better is in the ear of the beholder I guess. It should sound different. Like I said above, I'm still really liking my "older" ones. The only criticism I've ever had is that the Tolex/vinyl/ whatever rips and snags very easily.

Hi! First of all, I apologize for making a old post come back to life hahaha.

Now, I've recently purchased one of this cabs. I went to the guitar store with my rig (an Ampeg PF 500 and a Cort Artisan A5 plus) and tested 4 different cabs: this one, a Hartke 410 XL, a HD 410 and a HD 410b.

I really like the 410 format, but all the 4x10 cabs sounded lifeless and without the punchy funky sound that I like. On the other hand, I wasn't expecting too much about the HD 115, mainly because 115's seems too boomy for me, but when I plugged my head into the cab it blew up my mind! Even without the tweeter on, it had a great, focused sound, very versatile and loud as hell!

The same night I played a gig with it, and for the first time a I've more felt the bass than hear the bass. With the tweeter switch on I had the sound that I like (cutting into the mix without losing presence)
