New here from Milwaukee

I've been playing since I was 16 when a bunch of guys at the hardware store I worked at were getting together to jam. 3 guitarists (one who also sang pretty well and wrote songs). I was driving around with another coworker who happened to be a drummer and he said he wanted to swing by and just listen to them. Well they sat him down behind the drums and the singer grabbed a bass, put it over my shoulder and told one of the guitar players to show me what notes they were playing. Well I am 51 now and have never stopped playing.

Basses include a 78 American made Fender P, a G&L SB-2, Ibanez Roadstar II, Yamaha BB1100S fretless (I'm just getting to work on getting decent at that), and a Charvel Surfcaster Acoustic bass with pickups.

Main rig right now is a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 on top of a Genz Benz Neo-x 2x12.

Finally joining the forums as I am FINALLY getting into doing pedals a bit more seriously now and trying to figure out what works best for me.

Stylistically I have played in rock bands, punk bands, country bands, americana bands, pop bands. Wherever the friends I am playing with at the time are playing! Thanks for having me!
