Wow, quite a bit of reaction to the luminescent side- dot thing.. personally, I was just chasing if they were really luminescent, or not, having only found out about them after buying the bass. But, it would be cool if they did work, never hurts to have reference points, no one is perfect, especially on loud stages when performing- horses for courses. I did the cheesy thing and actually stuck some sticker dots on the fingerboard treble side, above the 12th while getting used to the scale shift. Much more helpful than the side dots, definitely better than the fingerboard dots that hide under the B.

I don't use them personally... but I'm not afraid to dab a few dots on my neck and test them out.

Maybe down the road I could see drilling in some tritium night sight dots. Those suckers GLOW. I think LED would be distracting and too bright to be useful.

Soon... I have however gotten used to the bh2s and I don't hate them as much. They actually kill it with bass and low mid boosted. It took a lot of fune tuning but I got them dialed in nicely. MXR 10band really helped lol

One good way to tell is to film your gigs. We do that a lot and while it feels painful watching yourself it does give you honest feedback and a new skills practice list :)

I'm gonna guess on purpose. And yes 30-60% is about where mine is. Since it's not a selection more of a blend maybe they added that to give you some reference? I'm gonna open it up and see if there's something external causing it or if it's something inside of the pot.
