I finally got a job offer for a Biological Science Technician position in Nogales, AZ. I still have to complete their pre-employment physical before the offer is finalized.

The beaches are really big, from what I hear, but it is a long walk to the ocean.

I drove across NM and AZ a couple years ago and got in some nice hikes but remember thinking "this is quite nice in the morning in February but I bet on an afternoon in July or August is just terrible."

I have a cousin (retired LtCol USAF, A-10 pilot) who lives in Tucson and works at Davis-Monthan AFB, as an instructor. I'm looking at housing in Sahuarita or Green Valley, AZ. The position is at the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant, doing water quality analysis.
