'New' Kustom 2x15" tug n roll?

Wow, way cool - congratulations Skies. :bassist:

Geez, is there anything they won't genetically modify nowdays? Much like their plan for the salmon and other food crops, we'll have GM Nauga's overtaking the native species leading to their extinction. Sad story.

On another note, a heartfelt and well deserved, and serious congratulations to Mr. and Ms., soon to be Mrs. Skies.

Thanks y'all. As much as I never hate to derail a Kustom thread (many here know that I consider my Kustom days as deserving of some kind of service reward for survival), I sorta hate to derail this one. I met the lovely Mz. Skies about 6 years ago and she put up a good chase...luckily for me, I'm persistent when there's something I want, and I knew from the moment I met her, that she was the Skies for me. I didn't so much win her over as wore her down. :D

Luckily for both of us, I no longer own the Kustom 200 head (sparkle blue) nor that awful 3x15 cabinet. Ugh. The good news is that I bought both for under 200$ and sold them each for more than that!

Thanks. :) We've had about enough of the year long party planning...we're ready to get out the other side of things and back to the tug and roll.

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid you've obviously missed the part in premarital counseling that clearly stated that the first thing to disappear in a marriage is your tugging and rolling. Don't come crying to ME when (not if) that happens. You've been warned.

yes, out here in CA they're raised free-range and organically by vegan farmers enjoying their own home-grown and processed hemp :hiding::D

In Iowa where I grew up, so much hemp was grown during WWII for making rope that it still grows freely in half the roadside ditches throughout the state. There's virtually no THC content, however, so out-of-towners who get big eyes and decide to harvest a trunk full are given a pass on drug charges, but are fined heavily for sheer stupidity.

I grew up in Minnesota. It's commonly refered to as "ditch weed". The myth that hemp could somehow get you high and render your morals ineffective was one of the driving factors behind it's banning. Along with Big Cotton, various other feel-good social lobbys and DuPont's nylon all greasing various political palms.

My Fastback has Wide-Track and Autronic Eye,
Which winks when a cute little Volvo goes by;
My tank full of Platformate starts with a roar,
But when I try to stop, it goes two miles more.
I measure my breathing with my Nasograph,
It's nice, but oh my, how it hurts when I laugh.
My chair is upholstered in real Naugahyde;
When they killed that nauga, I sat down and cried.
(He moved to Chicaga when that nauga died!)

Well, I dug the sound from those 3X15 cabs. Just a royal PITA to move.

I haven't seen any new ones around in any configuration with the elusive nauga hides.

But since we're talking Kustom Komfort...

Check out my old band The Fuzzbusters on YouTube.

We had an entire blue sparkle backline.:rollno:

Mr. Skies,
Is that a kilt in the first pic?
Very nice.
I know; setting trends wherever you go.

I spotted that too, Campbell? Ross? Kerr?

It is...I think I may even have that in a stash of 80's and 90's goth wear in my attic. Here's a quick tip...freaky chicks (and I mean the good kind) dig a guy in a kilt or skirt. I had 2 or 3 kilts and a few long black skirts that I'd wear on stage in different bands. Usually with the tallest Doc Martens that I could find, or most beat up combat boots and black leather jacket. :)

I started playing Jamaican music soon after, when the guitarist in one of my bands, the singer and drummer in another got sick of playing shows in NYC, Boston, etc., where the whole crowd acted like they were too cool to have fun. We also decided that we were no longer as alienated or angry as we once were...and side stepped into a whole different genre. I had listened to it in tandem with punk, hardcore, industrial, goth, etc. and it was time head for some roots.
