OK guys, the double germ is a whole different animal from the germ. I just got to play with it for a few minutes tonight and I can only describe it as rattier sounding...and I mean that in a good way. I'd have to say it's my favorite of the three I have.

What's the double germ? Not heard of that one, I thought there were only germ and silicon versions, and the special edition of each of those which has the expression control.
