New Member Introduction

I joined TalkBass a couple of days ago and thought I'd introduce myself. I bought my first bass guitar about 1980 and have been accumulating them ever since. Though I can read both bass and treble clef, I would consider myself more of a collector than a player. My interests tend toward basses that are a bit out of the ordinary such as my Gibson RD Artist, Groove Tools Billy Dickens, Ibanez Ergodyne EDC-710, Kramer XL-24, and so on. I hope to learn more and also be able to share information as I have been collecting guitar and bass catalogs since the mid-1960's. Walfy
