I have been a very long time lurker and finally pulled the trigger and joined.
A bit about me
I played bass in a few local bands in the 70’s up to the 90’s but took an 18 to 20 year hiatus, funny how life gets in the way. I actually started playing as a harp player before bass. I started playing bass again a few years ago and currently play in a few bands in my area. I also build all of my own instruments and repair many of the local bass and guitar players instruments and some amp repair. Never realized how much I missed it. Also did not think I would ever play again at my age, I should be sitting a rocking chair but I refuse to do that.

Had to put the 6 string rhythm guitar on the shelf as my fingers would no longer form the chord patterns, however, one note per beat on the bass lets me still play my ole bass guitar.

No longer with a gigging band and do miss this.
