Hi there.
New member, my name's Tim. I've been a bass enthusiast since... wow... 1991 or so. Never took playing very seriously though. Lots of chromatic exercises, a few cool licks, a lesson here and there, etc. I'm much older now, and I've decided that it's well past time that I started taking playing seriously. So I'm taking some online lessons, working on unlearning all the bad practices I picked up, and trying to get myself good enough to be able to jam with a weekend cover band or something.
I currently have three basses: a 2009 Ibanez SR300, a 2019 Ibanez SR500EPB, and a 2007 (I think, could be any time after 2006) Carvin LB20.
Glad to be here!
