New Mono power supply

I use a mission convertor and battery block and havent looked back. Lasts well over a three set gig, and no power cable to run to the front of the stage. In short, it works. 3k milli’s too.

I’m pretty surprised the small unit uses a USB-B connector and not USB-C. Mono seems like a cutting edge company, not sure why they used the older technology.

Line 6 still uses USB B, as well. I suspect it has something to do with USB B being more physically robust.

The Mission Engineering 529 also uses USB-B. As JKos pointed out, it is probably about physical durability, especially since this thing will be at your feet, where adjacent boxes are routinely and intentionally stomped on.

Another plug for a battery powered pedalboard: less source of noise from dirty mains power. I've used a DIY battery solution for a while with a daisy chain, but this looks like a really nice clean approach.
