New OCSM Mini!!!

i asked this in the main OCSM thread, but when set to "thru" how loud is the 1/4" output and does the level control still affect it?

If set to "thru" it's completely unaffected and the output level is equal to the input level ... that's the corresponding section of the manual:
  • 1⁄4 output Switch: Select the TR (1⁄4) output function between the Cabinet simulation or the unaffected input signal. Great to send your unaffected signal to your guitar or bass amp (or DAW, for later reamping).

Mine is hissing too ...

Wanted to include @Dsmnoisemaker in this:

Has anyone gotten a handle on this yet? I picked-up an OCSM Mini in a trade and noticed the hiss or extraneous noise via the 1/4" out. The severity changed with each power source...the best was a cast-off Line 6 9v - 0.5A. My pedalboard-mounted MXR DC Brick was more pronounced with a distinguishable pitch just sharp of G. Not sure if the noise is present on the balanced XLR out. The ground lift has no effect.

This is certainly not my strong area. Am I missing something?!?
