Just saw NEW ORDER play live last night , last stop on the tour . Wow!!! So in the pocket. The french bassist Tom Chapman was absolutely epic, exactly perfect nothin but 16th's all through. He was playing a musicmaster stingray incidently. The band is so tight still. Unforgettable . Pet ShopBoys "played" after was good but NW was epic. Oh also had Paul Oakenfold the DJ spinning in between bands. What a night.

Tom has been with them since 2011. Hook left after a massive royalty feud with Sumner . It was eventually settled but still hold massive grudge. Honestly Tom sounded exactly like hook maybe even better, never seen playing like that before live.He was the centerpiece of every song.
Glad you had a good time! I saw them on the first night of the tour, and Chapman was playing a P-Bass for most of the night. They unfortunately had some really prevalent sound issues where you couldn't really hear the bass at all throughout their whole set... it was a pretty huge let-down. I am happy for everyone else who got to see them that they managed to work out those bugs in the end, because otherwise it was a solid show.
Also, Pet Shop Boys were incredible. Loads of fun.
Way back. Was a JD fan as much as any kid in the States could be with such limited exposure here. Then in 83 Blue Monday promo arrived here. Die cut jacket with The Beach on side B. Once this single broke there were more imports of JD available.
