New "organ" pedal - EHX B9

Welp, that was short lived. Got mine on Friday and there is an extremely loud pop every time you play a note. This goes far beyond click knob territory...
Called Sweetwater and its going back. They said they've had a couple defective ones so far.
Hopefully the second time is a charm.

I went ahead and cancelled my order just now. I will still get one at a later date when they've been out for a while. I really was stoked over the pedal.

Mine is totally issue free for reference. Such a cool pedal. Maybe the best pedal purchase I have made in the last few years. And that's saying quite a bit.
you guy's who said you thought that the pedal color was black...you're NOT crazy...I have this pop up ad that keeps popping up and it shows it as a black pedal..just a little f.y.i.

I think the face is black but the edges and bottom are white. Many other EHX pedals have a similar design.

Version 2 is black...
Mosfed's take on this pedal gives me hope that I'll like it. Alas, I've made several heavy purchases lately and won't be getting one soon. Maybe version 2, in black.

I went ahead and cancelled my cancelling of my order for this pedal. I really do want to give it a try and maybe the second wave of them will have some of the problems ironed out. Still on backorder and that is fine.

Tone Report again, this time with a Link Removed. Nothing new to most of the people in this thread, and certainly the list misses a few.

I have to work more with the Lex to get the sound that I want. I kinda winged it yesterday for a gig and felt the Lex took away some definition from certain of the modes of the B9. I upped the Pre-amp drive on the Lex and that definitely helped but naturally also added a grit that I didn't necessarily want. There are so many different features on the Lex that I am sure I can get it sorted and will work on it more in the next weeks.
I got mine and, based on reading the info that comes with it, I think it's working as designed - 7 of the 9 settings (I think) have "click" as part of the function. Personally, I'd have preferred it without click or with the ability to disable click, as I think it interferes with some (not all) of the settings. Also, the "click" knob is the control with respect to the amount of the corresponding effect for the setting, so you can't just turn it down.
That said, several of the settings are very cool, and I'll keep it and use it.

Mine comes in tomorrow. I agree about the click. Why would you want it at all? Maybe I don't get it. I will hopefully be able to use one of the settings that doesn't have it very loud as my main setting. Then again, it might be cool in a mix?
