My '73 P has a decently matched ash body in natural factory finish that's turned amber and a maple A neck with the face of the headstock ambered.

You have a bass born to be natural; a lot of folks with 60's painted Fenders tried to copy that look during the 70's, with a lot of not so spectacular results.

I'm usually not a natural finish sorta guy, but I'm into this! Looks great. Especially the torty guard and the aged clay dots on the fretboard. A beauty!
