I never did anything to it. I just put it together and played it! I feels nice though smooth, satin and durable.Cool new bass!
I have a question for you re: Warmoth's "DIY Paint Ready" option: Have you applied your own clear finish on the body, or did you just use it as-is? How does it look and feel?

Here we have a Warmoth DIY-Ready P bass body, American Original 60s P bass Neck, Aguilar Pickups, Emerson Tone Control, Tortosie Shell Pickgaurd, and Thomastik Flats! I was able to remove the branding from an EMG pickup using finger nail polish remover (acetone).
