New Pigtronix pedals??

Just got all three of them today with enough time to grab the compressor and envelope phaser and throw them in the gigbag while heading out the door to a gig.

Initial impressions: I like the envelope phaser a LOT. It has a lot of the inherent character of a regular envelope filter, but is crisper and cleaner. It gets that nice burpy sound but doesn't get boomy or muddy. In regard to the compressor, I have to get used to it a bit more as it took a little more time to dial something in compared to the phaser. But, it sounded great. I did try the GAIN switch, and bongo hit it on the head.

I picked up the compressor yesterday, and I love it. Best compressor I've ever used, in my opinion, but the only other notable one was the Compressore. I can't believe how quiet it is, it sounds great, it manages volume differences with different techniques perfectly, and I got a ton of compliments about it last night at the open mic I showed up to. Definitely a keeper.

I couldn't agree more. I have had all 3 pedals for a week now, & I'm loving them. Gonna try them out Saturday night at my gig, & see how they work, but for now they're pretty awesome. I love the Bass Philosopher. The blend is so useful & is exactly what I've been missing in other compressors. The Fat Drive has quite a bit of low end when it's on its own, so I'm interested in seeing how it does with the band. The Envelope Phaser is really cool, but I'm still trying to dial in a tone. Seems very sensitive with my Spectors. I still prefer my Discombobulator & Octavius Squeezer right now, but we shall see. All in all, I'm glad I grabbed these bad boys!
