New Pre-Amp or Sonnus Wahoo?

Hi, I have a few quid to spend on improving my rig. I have a rack mounted head with a good power amp and 2 great cabs, but my rack pre-amp is an old BOSS unit which although good quality and has 4 band parametric EQ's is not bass specific. It works fine but my sound is functional and solid rather than WOW.

I am considering buying either a SNSAMP RBI or a BEE BMAX, which are both bass specific and have a few more features.

The secret 3rd option is to keep my pre-amp and get a Sonnus Wahoo effect pedal which I think looks very cool and clever, although not bass specific it seems to work very well for Bass and has true bypass and a blend option to maintain true bass sounds underneath the various available effects (crucial in my opinion for bass use)

I would be interested to hear people opinions on which way to go as I have no experience with any of these products. Also I would be glad to hear of other options for around the £300 mark to improve my live sound.:hyper:
