I've always loved Ricks. The bass I've had the longest is a 1980 4001 Fretless. But I've never had a fretted Rick. Until now. Sunday I finally bit the bullet and bought a brand new Jetglo 4003.

I haven't put it down yet. I don't know why I waited as long as I did, what a great bass.

    Beautiful couch... sorry, bass!

Had to zoom in on the first photo cos I wasn't sure whether the plant was growing out of the headstock or not... it is.

    Lucky you.

Awesome. 4003's are great basses, even if they get alot of hate around here, those of us in the know, have what everyone else is still looking for. And, Jetglo rules. Try a re=issue Toaster in the neck position when you get a chance, (and when they're available). Warms it up alot. Lovin' mine.
  5. I'm super jealous of your Ric. I've wanted one forever.

Thx. Is that re-issue Toaster available as a Rick original part?

Fantastic bass and also a super rad couch! I'd log plenty of hours on both if I were you.
