It sure does. I had a set of 10s but wanted some more flexibility in the low end out of my five and six-stringers. The BA12s accomplish this mission perfectly.

Wondering how 2 Array 12-3s would compare to the Subway 212?

Bass The World did a good review of the Magellan 800 through two bass array 112s.
Check it out and you can determine for yourself. Words can't really explain what the line array brings to the table with these.

I agree about being done with big rigs.
There are many compact and lightweight options that sound just as good if not better today, and you have one of the best available right there!

I have this cab, and love it. I’m using an old school GK 400RB head, and it sounds awesome.

All my big stuff is long gone why? Thank you Jeff Genzler. The 800 / 210-3 does all my indoor gigs with ease when outdoors I just add one of my 12T's, yessir.

Nice! I wonder what @Jeff Genzler would have to say about how the line array is impacted by being horizontal instead of vertical.

Yes it does disperse better when horizontal but does surprisingly well when vertical.

The drive channel on the Magellan is surprisingly useful for me! Not something I expected.
I've also never had an amp before where I actually use the contour knob. I always just set it flat and usually hate the mid-scoop they provide. Both voicings of the contour on the Magellan are absolutely awesome. They're pretty much polar opposites of one another and so useful in so many situations.
