I've gone back to my Zac Vic Victor pickup after trying a Krivo for a year or so. I'm keeping the Eurosonic strings though. I've just sold my Barefaced Super Midgets and replaced them with Barefaced One10 cabs. I use an AI Clarus SL head and have a TC BQ500 head for when plenty of volume is needed. I've also started using an Xvive wireless system which is very cool, very compact and does not color the sound at all.
Big problem for me though is the onset of Uncle Arthur in the base of my left thumb. I think lots of painkillers will be the order of the day for gigs. It is restricting my playing ability, so now I really will be in the less is more category.
