New Rotosound website and tension chart

(1) I've just looked up the figures for the RS66LF. The tension total is pretty similar to the Daddario EXL165, and they have the same gauges: 45-65-85-105.

Daddario: 42.8+51.3+48.4+40.3=182.8
Rotosound: 48.3+51.3+46.8+38.6=185.0

I think of the Daddarios as having a nice nervy feel, which I guess is the opposite of floppy. Would Rotosounds of similar gauges and tensions have that same taut feel, generally speaking?

(2) I've was watching a Mateusz Piotrowski YouTube demo of an 80s Ibanez going back and forth between rounds and flats. He doesn't say what they are though. One comment guesses that they're RS66s. Would you agree?



The tone when he plays with a pick at 2'15" is quite something

In fairness, the tension chart pdf is old enough to drive in some states... I still use it a lot because it gets you in the ballpark, but if I need up-to-date d'Ad data, I hit the website product pages.
