    Hi guys!
Today, I found this scar on my Squier Jaguar Modified bass. Lacquer Is complete, without any crack, so it has to be on the wood I think. Its only on the front side, back is ok. I didnt found any similar issue on TB. Could anyone tell me, if its normal, or I have to do something with that?
This is my backup bass, for casual playing, I always put it into strong case after Im done.
    Thanks in advance.

It looks like it is the wood to me, natural and nothing to be done about it.

Yeah I think it's just the dark part of the wood grain (unless I'm missing something in the pic).

Yeah, that’s not a scar. It’s just I dark streak in the body wood

@blankvers You say new? as in: you have owned it for a while, it was not there before and suddenly appeared?
My guess is wood that may have had residual moisture, and the residue is seeping out under the finish over time.
Not to worry, its wood. :)
