Hello All ~
On Nov 11th, 7:30 pm, I am hosting a bass recital as part of the opening of my new repair shop. Since 2008 Boston Bass Works has been part of my residence in a live/work studio here in South Boston. The day I realized I had 12 basses in my living room, I realized it was time to find a bigger space. This October I moved my work shop down the street to a 1500 sf studio located at 381 Congress ST fourth floor, Boston MA. Finally I have the space to expand and become more involved in repair work and sales.
Before setting up shop in my home town, I had the pleasure of studying bass with Jeff Bradetich from 2003 ~ 2007. He has performed all over the world but for some reason he has never done a recital in Boston. In the spirit on new beginnings I invited him to come to Boston next week to say hello, give a few lessons, and best of all give a free recital in the heart of Boston. This will be a great way to kick off my new shop and introduce Jeff Bradetich to a city with a rich Double Bass community.
