New speakers in a Baby Blue

Hey guys, I ripped the cone on one of the speakers in my Baby Blue II combo awhile back. I looked at the Bag End site for replacements (The originals were bag ends), but the smallest they had were 10" speakers. Same goes for Celestion and Eminence.

Where can I find some good, affordable 8" speakers to bring her back to life?

I was wondering if this was possible.

Some people suggested that somehow the electronic section of the amp was damaged, but i think that is because i told them my speaker was "blown".

Not the case, the cones still fire in phase... the one just has a rip.

Do most guitar techs have the know how to re cone it? This is a common fix right?

+1 for recone, perhaps Bag End can do it for you.

+1 Don at Low Down Sound has some nice long throw 8s.
