New sterling ray34 bad strings.

So i just got a sterling by music man stingray ray34 ash black. The bass feels and sound amazing. But the strings it came with are junk and one has a random thick spot and it has some good buzz. Other than that the bass is pretty much a 2017 mim ebmm.
I think it needs a setup and definitely nee strings. This is my first high end instrument and ive never had to setup any of my used stuff luckily. How should i get my bass setup. Low action with straight as possible neck and little to no buzz or what?

Weird thick spot on D string, suggest contact seller or Email to Ernieball if the bass are new from store and stock string load.

Im taking it to a local shop today to get the strings i want on it and a setup anyways so it doesnt matter to much. I just though it was stange.
