New SUB Basses?

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who gets irritated about this. The 4 just looks right, the 5 looks wrong.

I used my pre-SUB SUB last weekend. Sounded great and it still looks new almost 10 years later.

I checked out some new Ray34s yesterday. This is a fine batch. I was concerned because one played at GC few months ago sounded terrible. That said, when a/b'ed against a new $1,800 Classic style Stingray, it was definitely not quite as powerful.

I dig that new Ray34 in blue sparkle. But...I would still just buy a Stingray or Classic at this point.

I wonder how these new SUB's are going to sound...seems like a great idea to have EB's "Squier".

It's true. They do make the classic 5-string with the teardrop pickguard, but not with the 3-band EQ.

While I'm at it, I'd also like to complain about the fact that they don't make the Stingray in a 6-string model. What gives?!

They will never compare to my $325 USA SUB4

... or my $200 US one (used, of course)
