Exactly.

Everyone makes such a big deal about mine and they tell me I shouldnt have or at least should have gotten it somewhere where it isnt so easily seen but after wanting it there for over a year I decided I could put up with it.

Besides, I should wear a long sleeve shirt and tie at job interviews and other important functions where I might want to hide it.

While I agree with that (its practically like a "bass player for hire" billboard), I think its most important to get it where you want it.

I just saw that my forearm was where it looked right.

I also know a couple of people who have small hidden tattoos and they make sense. One guy just got a trebble clef high on the back of his right arm as a sign of his dedication to music to and for himself.

If I got mine, I'd get it on my back up by my left shoulder.

I go without a shirt *A LOT*, so people would still see it when I wanted them to, but I'd also be able to hide it easily and not be worried about what I had to wear every day to hide it if I had to.

hey Ty, good buddy. the back is so so for me. I enjoy looking at my tats and rather not have to contort myself to get a good look. just a thought. get it where you'll enjoy it, not others.

They are both as exactly the same as the artist could make them. I drew them like I've always made bass clefs, sort of like a long tailed comma followed by a colon.

I have a bass clef, it is my most recent of MANY tats. It's on my left calf. by itself it's a little bland, I'm going to see if someone can juice it up with a little extra, perhaps a doubled outline or something to just make it sharp.

and when I get to Orlando in a month, I get to see my favorite tattoo artist in the whole wide world, Miss Heidi!!!
- Hoping to get some more shtuff done to spruce up the ol' half-sleeves. (they might actually be quarters since they don't wrap underneath into the can't-see-it area)

And being a corporate type by day, I'm still wrestling with the idea of full-sleeves or no full-sleeves.

Then again, I am relying on lasers to counteract my initial collecting-too-fast-when-younger, and have two pieces I'd like removed in addition to planning on re-covering my less-than-stellar, and partially removed already, full backpiece.

You weren't asking me, but if anybody does I can proclaim, "Poole" (sic, perhaps), from right here in the midatlantic region. At least, 1/8 or so of me is =0)

Many of mine are Japanese and Chinese and I'm not. Just fascinated with cultures of Asia, always have been.

I got a blister on it from putting on too much triple anti-bacterial cream (at least this is all I can come up with--I used it about 5 times a day without checking the label, boy do I feel stupid. It says three times a day max :(). What do I do? Can I still put lotion on it? Call the tattoo parlor? I'm freaking out here, because it could be from something else and the one thing that scares the hell out of me is infection :bawl: Maybe I should go to a doctor?
