Excellent post would read again 5* out of 5*.
Now, when you get it figured out, you’ll have plenty of money saved up to go crazy.
I find the new site far more difficult to peruse as well. Much less intuitive to use, more difficult to get an “overview”.

Yeah, its a little hard to get used to, so far. I miss the link where you can just jump to the last post in a thread. If its still there, I don't see it.
That, and being required to use PayPal like some individual enable to take decisions for themselves.

Yea it certainly has kept me from browsing. It’s was so easy before I’d buy stuff I didn’t really “need”

Right. It’s kinda like looking through my old coffee can of random screws as opposed to my organized mini drawers.
Yes I see that when logging on to the specific thread, but I don't see that when logging on to the Forums page, where it lists alot of threads but no " Jump To Latest", at least as far as I can see.
I don't know, it's not tripping me up too much, though there are often a couple more steps than there used to be. But click on classifieds and get taken to a page with everything regardless of category. There you can access a drop down menu to go to whatever category you want. The search too seems really limiting, until you hit the little gear icon and see that it actually offers more and better filtering than the old TB (old classifieds search was pretty limited). So I'm still bleeding money just like I used to

Yea, that is easy to see. I only use on iPhone and I CAN NOT see categories in classifieds. Even my techy friend said “nope”.. you can put in “fender” or “ampeg” but there is no - effects/basses/etc… I’m convinced it’s my phone because there is no way this isn’t an option- if so, huge fail
Weird, so you don't get the drop down menu? The 3 lines to the left of where it says classifieds?
Which brings up the categories menu?
What about advanced search? Choose search classifieds, hit the gear, then advanced at the bottom
Then in advance should be category select
At least that's what it looks like in chrome on an android.
Yeah the classified searching seems like a mixed bag. Once you figure it out it's better, but it's not the easiest to figure out.
