There is always a nice 70's vibe in the undercurrent of Thundercat's music.
Gotta say, I agree. He's got some Thurston Moore Syndrome going on.Man I love thundercat as a bass player. But as a singer I feel like he sings the same way every. single. time. I swear "Them Changes" is the only song he ever deviates from the same vocal melody/rhythm. The isley brothers get credit for it cause I guess he sampled something for the tune, but I'm starting to believe Them Changes was shadow written by someone else cause in terms of catchiness and melody he's never once gotten close to that again.
