New to heads and cabs. (Aguilar)

Quick question. I've been using combos forever and i'm feeling like moving to cabs and heads. I'm looking at the little mark II Mark bass head. And either an Aguilar 112 or 210. (which would you recommend?)

Right now I no longer play in a band but I play for my youth group. And on Sundays. Which is about... eh 200 people on a good day, give or take. I'm really feeling the 112. But would it handle the low end of a Stingray nicely? I've used 112's before and both crackled when you get it loud.

Do you bros under stand my questions?

Never used the Aggie's, but my Schroeders handle the low B from my MMSR5 and my Modulus G5 quite nicely. I love the 12's. As for the Markbass head, I have read a bunch on them and they seem to be well liked. Not enough power for me, but in your situation, it seems to be a great choice.

i'd think a pair of 1x12's should be more than enough.

but dang, if you're pushing a pair of 112's to their limits, i can only imagine how flippin' loud your band must be playing! or your probably just battling a keyboardist.

and frankly, the 2x10's weigh like baby rhinos, so i wouldnt bother.

2X10 Aguilars are loud and super reliable but they are heavy

A pair of GS112's = magic. As long as you've got the wattage.

Sounds like the 112 is a win. It jsut be getting one for now. But after like a month i could snag a second.

How many watts would i need to cover?
