Actually I've mostly played country for the last 10 or so yrs. the stingray is my sweetheart. I've played it 3-4 nights a week for several years now. I bought the Pbass bc on my corporate gig, it's not uncommon to do a 3+hr set and the stingray was getting heavy.

Not to be rude, but I see on your profile you joined on Talkbass on July 6th, 2009...

Anyway, nice looking basses!

You are correct sir. I remember joining but I think I just forgot about the site until recently while doing some research on a new amp purchase. I even tried to "join" and it told me that my email already existed. So, even though it looks like I'm a veteran, I'm really just a know-nothing rookie when it comes to Talkbass.

Hello Jeff welcome two nice looking tools you have there I especially love the flame on that P

Thanks bro. I bought it off ebay. I've always loved P's and like I said, was wanting something lighter for a specific gig and I got a good deal on it. Ironically it played beautifully right out of the box. I wasn't really expecting much but I fell in love with it. I even bought Lollars for it before it shipped and never put them in bc it was exactly what I wanted...minus the gold hardware lol

Haha, cool man. Welcome (back) ;)
