New to Warmoth - what do I need to purchase?

Hi all,

I've been looking into putting together a nice Warmoth 5 string, however I know nothing about putting together a bass from parts; If I purchase a Warmoth body & neck, what other hardware do I need to purchase (Say, with active Bart P2's)?

Also, I was looking into purchasing a Black Korina body with some kind of maple top (w/ a satin finish), and pairing that with a Wenge neck (graphite rod) with an ebony fretboard. From what I've read, Wenge is considerably heavier; anything I should do to negate neck dive and such?

In addition to neck, body, and pickups, you will need to purchase:
- strings
- tuning machines
- string tree
- bridge
- electronics package (preamp, EQ, etc.)
- strap buttons
- neck plate & screws (or threaded inserts)
- knobs
- springs & screws for mounting the pickups
- output jack mounting plate
- battery box, or battery clip for inside the electronics compartment.
Optional: pickguard, thumbrest, ramp, ashtray(s)

If it's front-routed, you'll need a control plate. If it's rear-routed, they supply a cover and screws. I'll probably use a set of black pickguard screws for it though, since I like the low-profile/all-black look better.

They had to check with their guy in the machine shop first to see if it was doable. It cost me an extra $60 to have it done…a bit overpriced for a tiny bit of measuring and woodcutting, if you ask me, but this project is special to me and I wanted something almost universally unique.
