New Toy

Picked this up today,Got it for $320 with a hard case but it is a Epi case. Serial # says its a 99.Got it home and took it apart(it was pretty dirty)for some cleaning and discovered a crack in the nut,so I guess I will be looking for someone to replace that! While I have this tore apart completely is there anything you guys can recommend doing before I reassemble? Hopefully the pic shows up!

That's a terrible photo. MORE PHOTOS NEEDED. Is it MIA, MIM, MIJ etc? Take pictures with the scratchplate removed and with the neck removed. We need to see the heel of the neck and the pots and the colour under the scratchplate and the wires and everything really.

Check the wiring is making good contact at both ends and that nothing is loose.

Other than that enjoy. Seems very cheap, if an MIA?

If you are talking about the piece of metal, it's a micro-tilt adjuster.

Ah, with a screw fitted from the backside, accessed via a hole in the neck plate? That would work.
It's still a T-nut, though...hmm...

You could install those neck bolt stiffener thingys, not sure what they are called but seems like a cheap mod that people like here.

What is the best way to clean the poles on the pickups,small brass wire brush? A little bit of rust on them.
