Hello!

Been using the forums for information for quite a while. Figured it was time to join up :-).

I'm 26 years old; been playing for about 13 years. I became interested in the bass because I wanted to play music and everyone needs a bass player :-). Born and pretty much raised in Huntsville, AL; I moved a couple of times before high school. I'm currently playing in a punk band called The One Night Onlys and a folk-soul band called Skyline Alley. I predominantly play finger-style or with a pick depending on what the music calls for; by that I mean I don't really do slapping or tapping.

I've had a few lessons here and there, but I'm mostly self-taught as far as technique. However, I've had classical theory training. I love discussions on theory and chord construction. I find my mind often moves a lot faster than my fingers, lol. Anyway, you guys have been an invaluable resource for practice tips and exercises! Hope I can contribute!
