Check this out. Victor clearly mentions being able to blend SIX effects at once. Maybe the update is coming sooner than we hoped???

This is completely off topic and I'm not trying to start any arguments or anything...but am I the only one that wishes Vic would stop talking in these videos? "Yo check this out! Its got real big numbers and buttons"..."Yo check this out, this is very very very very cool! Its got effects"..."Its not gonna break"...I should hope not :scowl:

Granted I'm a little biased due to the fact that I wish he would just go away for a little while because I'm tired of 80% of bass related conversations somehow straying to Viccy Woots.

I agree that, while not a Victor Wooten fan per se, I would have liked to hear him play through the dang thing. The other artist videos on the Zoom website have them explaining and demoing the patches they made (though none mention 6 effects...). I'm wondering if the whole 6 effects thing was nothing more than a slip of the tongue on VW's part, followed up by the youtube 'samsontech' guy confusing the B3 for the G3 or jsut not knowing the products thoroughly...

I have a pitch shifting question for you all:

Can I set up a patch that will allow me to play 1/2 step down? I could do it with my M5, but just want to make sure it's possible with the B3. Thanks,

I tried this and, while it is possible, it doesn't sound nearly as transparent as the M5. The tracking isn't quite as stable and there are artifacts if you play too fast. There are a lot of things the B3 does as well as or better than the M5 but pitch shifting isn't one IMO.

I sold mine but if they ever do release the new FW that allows 6 at once, I would buy another one of these in a heartbeat
