Looks like it might be a bit tough to see what you have going on from a standing position while playing....

Well, with avarage eyes, I don't think it makes a problem..
..and with avarage memory, as you have to remember the three effects you have programmed in the patch :)

What you see there on the pictures are only the icons of the pedals you use, for editing you have to tweak the knobs, so you have to bow, and the display comes closer :)

I'm really curious how it sounds!!!!

We need some audio/video clips.

Very interesting. I wonder what it will cost.

One notable positive for me: XLR out
One notable negative for me: I wish they would have done two flavors - non USB, and USB. Many of us don't want to pay for USB/computer options that we're not going to use. This thing is probably very expensive.

Another notable positive: the names they got to put their names on patches: Victor Wooten, Doug Wimbish, and others.

I don't expect it to be much more than the $200 G3. Decide for yourself if you think that is expensive.

It looks like pretty strong competition for the M9. Different features, but definitely more bass oriented. If the distortions are more touch sensitive than the B2, then I want one.

EDIT::: Just found out something pretty awesome, there are up to 9 parameters per effect. The Moog MF101 has 8 parameters to tweak. If it sounds near as good as the Moog it is a nice piece of gear.

USB is really handy when you have to make some recordings to computer, and as I know, you can also use it for easier editing!
..not to mention the software updates!!!

Looks like a very exciting box, if the amp modeling is good, then you have the world in your pocket. Nice to see a newcomer into the emulation family- the Markbass. I mean, SVT, B15, Eden, GK, Marshall Superbass, etc, all kind of "obligatory" on the emulation list, but it is the first time I see the Markbass on such a list.
The box design looks solid and simple, I like it!

The high number of parameters per effect is a new thing for such units. It is exactly the low number of parameters is the reason I've dumped my Line6 bass pod XT pro. Difficult to nail the tone of the original hardware units with limited emulation parameters.
