Double Bass Newbie BD seeks Advice on a Pickup

Just picked up a 20 something year old Knilling Summit 1330T bass. I was looking for a decent bass to learn on this one had suprizing character and sound. I would like to buy a pick up for this. I will be playing it through a Genz-Benz Shuttle 9.0 and Epifani cabs (UL-210 and a UL-115). I would like to hear an uncolored representation of the bass and keep the cost under $200. Thanks in advance for your advise.

Hi! I have a Shadow SH 965 NFX pickup + preamp. It has these nanoflex pu-sheets that go under the bridge feet and preamp is mounted on the string afterlenghts. It does everything decently, at least for my use. Price were somewhere around 200€, which is a little more in $.

After research I have decided to get the Shadow. It should be here today. I took the time to properly set the bridge and am happily waiting for UPS. I am enjoying the process of learning about my new instrument. I appreciate all of the comments.

Propably a good choice. I don`t have an amp of my own and am a complete idiot when it comes to anything dealing with electricity. However, I`ve been able to get a decent pizz and bowed sound with this pu and the wichever generic amp have been available. And zero feedback issues with low - medium volume levels so far.
+ The battery lasts forever.
