I've been messing around with basses for a few years now, finally broke down and signed up for some lessons.
I picked up a bass in a deal with my wife, she would let me take up a hobby in exchange for my giving up on-line gaming. So after some searching I found myself in Sam Ash and migrated to the bass section. Was ignored for about 30 minutes, then had to track someone down and force them to sell me something other than a guitar.
I'm 42, work full-time, a runner (not a racer though), married with 2 kids. Boring.
Just looking to pick up some skills to eventually play bass in earnest, maybe join a band and create some music. But got to learn to play first!
