Newbie needs help with new Phil Jones Flightcase

We did have a slight noise problem when the AC voltage was above 220V. We have extensivly redesigned the main power supply board and now there is no longer a noise issue even at 240V.

And my amp has been fixed, finally! I thank Phil and Freda and the guys that they actually did take the time to find this problem and fix it, even if it took a while!

Now it's a GREAT amp! Wouldn't trade it for anything!

:)

I've been having the same whistle problem on and off recently with my BG150 -- I thought it was noise being picked up by the bass but it seems to come and go from day to day, I guess with variations in mains voltage.

It means I can't really trust it any more to use on gigs, sometimes the whistle is there and sometimes it isn't. The amp was bought in the UK in June 2010 from Guitar Mania.

If you're watching this thread, can you arrange for this problem to be fixed?

Contact Phil Jones Bass and I'm sure they'll help you out, when they finally found out how to fix this, things were handled with excellence from their side for me and the amp is dead quiet now..

Just got mine back from Synergy (the UK distributors) and also dead silent now, they replaced the SMPS board with the new redesigned one FOC :-)
