Hey guys/gals!
I'm very much a newbie when it comes to nay setup of any of this stuff so be easy please! I basically was given a set of old Yamaha Speakers and a Board years back. The speakers died and I accuired a set of Peavy Speakers. I used to mainly use them at woods parties and now I just like to blast them in my garage or outside in the summertime. I recently got a Peavy sub as well. My question is what is the best way to set these up to get the most out of them?
Currently I have a Yamaha 100II Mixer with (2) Peavy SP 5G and (1) Peavy 410 TX. I have the speakers plugged into Speaker (1) and Speaker (2) One is left one is right. have the 410's plugged into another speaker slot as well. I typically just use an Aux cord to my laptop to run Amazon Music. I'm sure there is a better way of hooking these up to get the most out of them. Any insight would be appreciated! If I missed any important information just ask. As I said I'm new to the speaker world as in setting them up like this.
Edit: Also... I have the SP5G speakers plugged into the Max Power Jack. And my Aux cord is hooked to Channel 1 on the board and then to my laptop.
